1. Disable or Limit unusable Startup Programs
Many computer programs are automatically starts when your system starts, it will cause to slowdown the whole performance of the computer. To disable unusable or unwanted startup programs, open the task manager by clicking SHIFT+CONTROL+ESC Button at the same time. Another way to open task manager by right clicking at open space of taskbar and select task manager. The following image shows the task manager opening by clicking on taskbar.
after opening task manager as shown in the above figure, click on startup tab as shown in following image. after opening startup tab, you will find the list of program which are automatically boot Up Enabled, choose and disable by clicking it.
2. Adjusting Power Options
The second step is to adjust the power options of your computer. Open the Start menu or click windows icon on your keyboard and search for 'power options' as shown in the figure below.
Click on the result to open the control panel of power options window. Change your default power plan to "Maximum or high performance" for better system performance.as shown in figure Below.
3. Delete Unnecessary & Temporary Files
In any computer system temporary files takes up unnecessary space on your system and may slow down the whole performance of computer. To delete these files, click Windows icon and 'R' button at the same time. It will open "run" as shown in the figure below.
Type "%temp%" and click "OK" to open the temporary files folder. Select everything in the folder By clicking Control & 'A' button at the same time or manual select and delete them. Repeat the process for the "temp" folder and the "prefetch" folder also.
4. Optimize Drives of your Computer
To improve the performance of your system drive, you can defragment and optimize it. Open the start menu and search for "defragment and optimize drives" .
As shown in the above figure, Select your system drive (usually clean the C drive) and click on "Optimize" to start the optimization process.it will take some moment to complete and its done.
5. System Memory Cleanup
To free up memory of your system 'C' drive, right-click on the drive (usually the C drive as shown in the figure below) in the file explorer and choose "properties".
In the general tab, click on "disk cleanup" and allow the system to scan the files. Click on "cleanup system files" and delete unnecessary files to clean up your system.
6. Registry Tweaks
To maximize System Performance, Registry tweaks can help optimize your Windows performance. Open the run box Clicking " windows + R" again and type "regedit". In the registry editor, navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" > "Control Panel" > "Mouse". You can Change the values of "MouseHoverTime" to 10 to increase mouse responsiveness as shown in the figure Below.
